CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are looking for a man wanted for attempting to kidnap a 3-year-old child.
The incident occurred in the area of Tracy Ln. and Pea Ridge Rd. on Thursday at 3:47 p.m.
The mother of the child said that a Hispanic male or a dark-skinned white male jumped her fence and ran towards her child. The mother then made her presence known and chased him away.
He fled the scene driving a four-door blue older model car, possibly a Chevrolet Caprice, with rust on the bottom. He was wearing a black ball cap, a white sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
