Springfield man dies from injuries in motorcycle crash in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) responded to a motorcycle crash Friday around 6 p.m. at Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and Old Trenton Rd.

Brian Walker from Springfield, Tennessee was traveling on his motorcycle and was unable to come to a complete stop at a stop sign due to his high rate of speed.

Walker was struck by an SUV and transported to Vanderbilt Hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to CPD. His family has been notified.

CPD said Fatal Crash Investigators have taken over the investigation.
