HOPKINSVILLE Ky. – A sixth person has been charged in connection with the assault of a Hopkinsville High School student earlier this month.

The sixth arrest is a 15-year-old Hopkinsville girl, who has been charged with three counts of distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, according to Captain Chris Miller with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said the teen sent the video of the assault to three different individuals via a digital device.

The juvenile was transported to McCracken County Juvenile Detention Facility.

The investigation is ongoing.
