Shots fired on Hickory Trace, police looking for suspect

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police responded to a call of shots being fired Monday, July 29 around 1 p.m. in the 100 Block of Hickory Trace.

According to a release from the Clarksville Police Department (CPD), eight to ten shots were fired toward a group of children and adults who were standing outside in the area. No one was injured.

Police determined Lamario Montrice Mckissack, 28, of Madison, Tenn., is a possible suspect. Mckissack currently has active warrants for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Domestic Assault and other charges are pending. He is described as a black male, 5’7”, 200 pounds, with tattoos on his face and arms. The weapon used has not been recovered.

The public is asked to call CPD if they know the location of Mckissack. Detective Rodney Lifsey is investigating and can be contacted at (931) 648-0656 ext#5298.

The public is asked to call 911 if they see Mckissack.
