CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The acoustic instrumental quartet known as Red River Breeze will host an Album Release Party for their latest work, The Bird Whisperer, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 at Silke’s Old World Breads located at 1214 College Street.
The event is free and complimentary refreshments will be provided.
The group is based in traditional Celtic, Renaissance, Old-Time and World music. Playing for over thirteen years, the Clarksville based band plays traditional instruments including hammered dulcimer, fiddle, penny whistle, Renaissance recorder, guitar and djembe, according to their website.
Current members of the group are Stephanie Taylor, the founder of the group and the hammered dulcimer, penny whistle and recorder player; Melanie Beck on fiddle; David Magers on guitar and djembe; and David Elder on bass.
