CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY. – The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Paducah, Kentucky has confirmed three tornadoes struck northern Christian County during a severe thunderstorm Sunday night around 7 p.m.

A team from the NWS office spent time in the area Monday and Tuesday surveying the damage and report three tornadoes, one near the Christian/Trigg County line, another near Crofton and the third around the Christian/Muhlenberg County line.
The weather service says the EF-2 and EF-0 damage shows winds were around 115 miles per hour. No injuries were reported but there was heavy damage along with power outages as the storm moved from Trigg County, across Christian County into Muhlengberg County.
