Police officers to shop with over 100 children

The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) will host its annual Shop with a Cop event Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Sango Wal-Mart at 8 a.m.

The event is sponsored by the Clarksville Police Union and the FOP. More than 100 children will shop with officers for holiday gifts and clothing. The children were nominated by 18 elementary school guidance counselors, CPD personnel, and members of the community.

Each child will have $100 to spend from funds donated by businesses and the public.
