CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is looking for the person responsible for robbing a clerk at gunpoint at Sonic on Riverside Dr. Monday morning.
According to a press release, the incident occurred between 9:44 and 9:46 a.m.
The suspect was dropped off at the Scuba shop behind Sonic and walked up to the business while the getaway driver waited in what appears to be a VW Jetta or Toyota Corolla. The vehicle is missing a rear hubcap.
After the robbery, the suspect got into the vehicle and the two drove away.
The suspect is described as a white male. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt covering his hair, a black t-shirt, black or blue jeans, and blue and white Vans brand tennis shoes.
