Owner of tobacco shop charged with selling imitation controlled substances

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The owner and operator of a local tobacco shop was charged yesterday with selling imitation illegal controlled substances from the store.

Teklit Ghilazghi, 33, who gave a Memorial Drive address, was arrested and his bond was set at $75,000.

Agents with the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Fort Campbell Criminal Investigation Command conducted several controlled buys from Ghilazghi at the Smoke 4 Less, 1728 Memorial Drive.

They conducted a search warrant on the business Tuesday, Nov. 26 and seized the controlled substances and well as paraphernalia sold in the store.
