HOPKINSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man was killed and a woman was injured in an apartment fire in Christian County Tuesday morning.
Kentucky State Police said 25-year-old David Keys of New Albany, Indiana died in a fire at the Woodland Heights Apartments near Greenville Road around 4 a.m. Tuesday. An autopsy confirmed his death was caused by smoke inhalation.
Andra Pool, 22, of Hopkinsville flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is in critical condition.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Arson Investigator Scott Steward, but foul play is not suspected.
