ERIN, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has confirmed that a tornado touched down Tuesday morning in Houston County.
NWS described it as a small, brief EF0 tornado.
It touched down seven miles east of Erin, TN, which is approximately 35 minutes southwest of Clarksville.
This is the first February tornado in Houston County since 2008.
Storms with heavy rain and hail rolled through the Middle TN and Kentucky regions Tuesday.
