CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The rescheduled Movies in the Park showing of the animated movie “Brave” will take place Saturday, July 27 at Heritage Park.

The event is free and open to the public.

The pre-show activities known as “Move before the Movies” will happen an hour before the movie.
“Brave” will begin at dusk and has a rating of PG.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation is reminding the community to bring along blankets and lawn chairs, but to leave pets at home. Outside food is allowed, though concessions will also be available, with sponsor Bojangles providing biscuits and sweet tea.

As a response to complaints of disruptions during past Movies in the Park events, a parent or guardian will be required to accompany all minors attending. This rule is for the July 27 movie only. One guardian may bring multiple minors with a note giving them responsibility for the behavior of the entire group in question.

Also rescheduled, the showing of “Les Miserables” will be August 17 at Liberty Park.

For more information, contact the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department at (931) 645-7476 or visit www.cityofclarksville.com/moviesinthepark.
