CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man was killed in a shooting Sunday evening at a Fort Campbell Blvd. apartment complex.
According to Clarksville police, officers responded to a shots fired call at 3193 Ft Campbell Blvd. around 6 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man outside on the ground with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
Police are processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses.
CPD spokesman Jim Knoll said that based on the initial investigation, the general public is not in danger. The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
The victim has not yet been identified and police have not named any suspects. There is no additional information at this time.
