FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in their investigation of a woman who went missing from Fort Campbell nearly 40 years ago.

reports that Alice Jefferson was last seen in July 1975 at the age of 21 while living on post with her husband and two children.
Her children, who are now adults, contacted the Army Criminal Investigation Command to request an investigation into her disappearance.
When she was last seen, Jefferson was 5’1”, weighed 100-115 pounds, and had black hair, brown eyes, and pierced ears. She occasionally wore wigs and may have an open-faced gold crown on her front tooth.
She was known to have family in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, and Pennsylvania.
