Hopkinsville woman found dead in apartment

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Hopkinsville police found a woman dead in a Pennyrile Village apartment Tuesday, July 30 around 7 p.m.

According to a release from the Hopkinsville Police Department, Faye Springfield-Wadlington, 53, was already deceased on the floor inside the residence when police arrived. The woman displayed external injuries, but the cause of death has not been determined. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31.
