CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Multiple media outlets have reported that Hastings Entertainment Inc. will close all of its stores by October 31 of this year.
This closure includes the Clarksville location at 1600 Fort Campbell Blvd.
The decision comes one month after the business filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
A timeline for when individual stores will be closed has not yet been provided.
As reported earlier, game rentals will no longer be available, gift cards will expire on July 13, and Hastings’ buyback program has been suspended.
“We thank our customers and employees for their loyalty over the years, and we hope to see customers at store closing sales,” the company said in a statement.
