Goodwill Career Solutions to host employment workshop for the disabled

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Persons with disabilities will have the opportunity to attend an employment resources workshop from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, August 2 at the Career Solutions center located at 1592 Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville.

Goodwill Career Solutions is hosting the program to inform the public of the free services it offers to people with disabilities and their caregivers which include intensive job readiness training, career counseling and planning, job search and placement service, digital and financial literacy and health care training.

Snacks will be provided at the event. Door prizes will also be given away.

For more than 55 years Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. has provided job training and job placement free of charge to people with disabilities or other barriers to employment through the sale of donated items. Since January 2013, Goodwill has served 9,564 people in Middle and West Tennessee and placed 2,041 clients in jobs.
