CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – For the second year, ESPN Clarksville and Ben Franklin Plumbing will bring local high school football fans the Friday Night Blitz.

Co-hosted by Scott Chase and Mike Robinson, the show will cover all nine area teams and weekly match ups, coach and player interviews, and special guests each week.  The show will also feature the Culver’s athlete of the week.

“We have nine area high schools,” Robinson said. “We want to bring not only coverage to these programs, but some exposure to high school football in Montgomery County and Fort. Campbell. Whether fans are tailgating or driving to an away game, we want to be the show they are listening to and help them get ready for all the big Friday night match ups.”

This year, ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM) will carry a select “Game of the Week” at 7 p.m. right after the Friday Night Blitz.

“We’re adding to our coverage this year with a designated photographer for each game, live streaming on the ClarksvilleNow app, and we will podcast every game and post to ESPN Clarksville,” Chase said.

Fans can also stream the show along with the game of the week on the Tune In Radio app. The first show of the season airs August 18 followed by the the first Game of the Week, Rossview at Clarksville High.
