CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the Pembroke Minit Mart robbery that occurred July 25.
Detective Captain Tim Cooksey arrested 20-year-old Robert Jacob Griffith, of Ashland City, KY.
Griffith, a soldier at Fort Campbell, was charged with one count of Robbery 1st Degree and booked into the Christian County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
Deputies were originally called to the convenience store on July 25 after it was reported that a white male entered the business with a handgun and demanded money. Surveillance footage was a contributor in Griffith’s arrest.
Fort Campbell CID aided in locating Griffith and assisted Sheriff’s Investigators in all events on post.
