CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Police report a fatal crash just after 8:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Ashland City Road and Branch Road.
A 2015 Volkswagen Passat traveling west on Ashland City Rd. driven by 64-year-old Phillip Piccione of Woodlawn, TN collided head on with a 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor traveling east.
The Mitsubishi was driven by 69-year-old Martha Brashear of Clarksville. Her passenger was 75-year-old William Brashear of Clarksville.
Piccione was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Brashears were transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center and Skyline Medical Center in serious condition.
This is an ongoing investigation.
