MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is conducting a death investigation at a home in Cumberland Furnace.
MCSO received a shots fired call for a residence on Houston Rd. Tuesday around 4 p.m., according to Public Information Officer Sandra Brandon.
Upon arrival, deputies found the body of a woman inside the home.
A man was detained for questioning.
A cause of death has not yet been determined.
No identities have been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
