CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Wednesday, Feb. 10 is a snow day for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, making it the sixth inclement weather day missed by students.

As a result, schools will be open on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 15.

This is part of the of the Inclement Weather Makeup Plan, which was approved by the School Board in July.

Clarksville-Montgomery County schools allow for five days before students have to start making them up. Days with delayed start times are not considered missed.

However, if more than five days are missed before TCAP testing begins, students will have to make up the days by staying an additional 30 minutes each day until the time is accounted for.

Teachers are only given three forgiveness days and must make up any beyond that.
