ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. – Two people were killed Saturday, Dec. 14 in a crash on I-24 in Robertson County.

According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), Jeremy L. MacDonald, 32, and Kristie L. MacDonald, 38, both from Clarksville, were traveling west on I-24 in a 2003 GMC Yukon. After passing a tractor trailer, Jeremy MacDonald made a sharp right turn and struck a guardrail, causing the vehicle to flip over the guardrail four to five times. Both people were ejected from the vehicle.

The driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts, which THP said would have made a difference in the crash.

There is no further information at this time.
