CA’s Bryan Dirksen wins bowling awards

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. –  Clarksville Academy student, Bryan Dirksen took top honors at the Southern Scratch Juniors Bowling Association Tournament.

Dirksen competed against 17 other bowlers in the classics division of the Southern Scratch Juniors Bowlers Association.

The SSJBA has 16 tournaments over Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi the final is the Super Bowl in Ft Walton Beach, Fla.

Bryan started the weekend with winning $150 Scholarship for Sportsman of the Year.

Over Sat and Sun he bowled 18 games and won the Classics Division Title while earning the coveted Eagle trophy and $525 in Scholarship.

During the regular season Bryan took 3 titles and with the Super Bowl winnings brought his scholarship total to $1,100 for the year. Next year Bryan will move up to the Masters Division
