CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are looking for a thief who has been targeting unlocked vehicles.
A surveillance video obtained by police shows that on May 22, a man attempted to open a vehicle’s door, was unsuccessful, and moved on. However, police believe he entered other unlocked vehicles on Barnhill Rd., Thrasher Dr., Stillwood Dr., and Moss Rd.
The suspect stole money, a gun, military gear, ID cards, and wallets.
Additionally, a 2005 Jeep Cherokee was stolen that night from a driveway after the owner left the doors unlocked and keys in the center console. The Jeep Cherokee (black with TN Tag 8F82S9) has not been recovered.
