Armed robbery reported at Fort Campbell Blvd

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – An armed robbery occurred at the Clarksville Mapco Express located at 2491 Fort Campbell Blvd the morning of Tuesday, June 30.

According to the report provided by the Clarksville Police Department, four men entered the convenience store demanding money. The victim reporting the incident stated that all of the men had “various handgun type weapons,” and that the two black male suspects pointed their weapons at him, though he was not shot or injured.

The exact types of handguns used in the robbery are unknown at this time.

The suspects fled the scene on foot with $128 in cash, cigarettes valued at $175, and some soda taken from the business.

The two black male suspects both wore gray ski masks, with one also wearing a zip up gray hoodie with white strings and a logo on the left side and blue sweat pants, and the other wearing a gray hoodie with white and black gloves, black pants, and a backpack. One of the white male suspects was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants, and gray blue and orange striped mask. The other white male suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, backpack, and a tan shirt or scarf over his face.

It is not believed that the robbery was drug related or a part of any gang activity.
