CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will waive adoption fees during the week of Valentine’s Day (Feb. 13-18) to help unite pets with their sweethearts.
Animals who are already spayed or neutered can go home for $12. Adoption fees will be waived for the entire week.
In addition, a discounted microchipping event will be held Saturday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is open to the public. All pets can be microchipped for $15.
Animals that are microchipped during this event will be placed in MCAC’s database to ensure they can be returned home if they are ever lost in the area.

Note: Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will be closed Saturday, February 11 for scheduled computer maintenance. There will be an officer on-call for emergency calls and to take care of the animals at the facility during the closure. The facility will reopen on Monday, February 13.
