3rd Annual Queen City BBQ Cook Off

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The 3rd Annual Queen City Barbeque Cook Off sponsored by the Small Business Club of Clarksville is set to occur June 21-22, 2013 at the Clarksville Speedway located at 1600 Needmore Road.

The cook off will benefit the Warrior Transition Unit of Fort Campbell. The WTU’s mission is to facilitate the healing and rehabilitation of soldiers, return them to duty when possible or to prepare them for a successful life as a veteran in their community. All proceeds will benefit our local Wounded Warriors.

The Queen City Barbeque Cook Off will showcase 40 professional barbequers and is a Kansas City Sanctioned Barbeque Contest.

During the contest a Wounded Warrior from Fort Campbell will be matched with a professional barbequer as an honorary member of their team to compete for trophies and prizes.

There is also a Backyard Division sponsored by Appleton Harley Davidson which amateur competitors are still welcome to join. The Backyard Division has no limit on the number of competitors welcome to join in the competition and will be judged by professional judges.
