CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Four people were killed in a crash involving three vehicles that blocked Ashland City Rd. Wednesday afternoon.

Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department said the crash was reported at 4:08 p.m.

Both lanes of Ashland City Rd. were blocked from the Cumberland Dr. intersection to Edmonson Ferry Rd. but reopened at 8:30 p.m.

Hall said the crash occurred when Vehicle 1 (the driver at fault) collided head-on with Vehicle 2 (SUV). Vehicle 1 (truck) caught fire and the driver died as a result.

The driver has been identified as 58-year-old Kristopher McCauley from Clarksville.

All three occupants of Vehicle 2 also died as a result of the crash. The driver has been identified as 31-year-old Devin Fillingham from Clarksville. Police said he worked as a salesman at Gary Matthews.

The passengers have been identified as 52-year-old Teresa King from Pleasant View and 22-year-old Sean Settle from Erin.

Vehicle 2 collided with Vehicle 3 after the initial head-on collision. The driver of Vehicle 3 refused medical treatment.
