OAK GROVE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting in Oak Grove that left two U.S. Army soldiers dead and one 16-year-old injured Thursday night.

The shooting occurred at a home on Arkansas Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

Investigators said 32-year-old Jeremy Demar, of Clarksville, was in a domestic dispute with his wife when he found her at the home and forced his way inside.

Once inside, Demar reportedly fatally shot two people. They have been identified as Demar’s estranged wife, Pricilla Ann East, 32, Oak Grove, Ky. and Christopher Ryan Hoch, 28, Oak Grove, KY. Both were soldiers stationed at Fort Campbell.

A 16-year-old was also injured during a physical confrontation with Demar inside the home, according to a release. The juvenile was transported to Tennova Healthcare Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Demar fled the scene with his small child, but was taken into custody by Clarksville police not long after the shooting. The child was not injured.

Clarksville police arrested Demar at his apartment on Union Hall Road at 9:38 p.m. where he surrendered without incident. He was booked into the Montgomery County jail on a $250,000 bond.

Demar has been charged with the following offenses:

1. Assault 4th Degree (Minor Injury)
2. Burglary 2nd Degree
3. Murder
4. Murder-Domestic Violence

Demar waived extradition to face charges in Christian County.
