ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency responded to a report of a boating accident on the Cumberland River in Ashland City.

TWRA officials said they responded to the call a little after noon Wednesday.

Officials said a 39-year-old White Bluff woman died in the accident. TWRA said that, according to witness statements, she was operating a personal water craft and tried to cross the path of another boat when the two collided.
